Commercial finance talent focused on planning, forecasting, business partnering, decision support and turning financial insight into action.
Roles We Recruit
Understanding The Brief
The best FP&A and commercial finance professionals sit close to the business. They understand the real drivers of performance, work confidently with imperfect data and translate operational activity into financial outcomes that people can act on. Whether the brief is for an Analyst, Finance Business Partner, FP&A Manager or Head of FP&A, we look beyond modelling skill and test how each candidate thinks, communicates, challenges and improves decisions.
Market Perspective
What's actually happening in this market.
FP&A has moved well beyond annual budgets and variance commentary. Rolling forecasts, scenario modelling and driver-based planning are now central to how organisations respond to volatility, shifting demand and tighter investment decisions. The professionals in highest demand are comfortable moving across ERP and CRM data, BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau, and planning platforms such as Anaplan, while still knowing when a well-built model is enough.
The harder combination to find is technical capability with commercial courage. Strong candidates can challenge assumptions, explain the implications clearly and influence action without becoming a barrier to the business. SMEs tend to favour broad, agile generalists who can move quickly from forecast builds to board packs. Larger enterprises typically run more layered teams, with analysts aligned to business units, products or revenue lines and more defined remits.
